The newly structured ownership/management team of the former Velvet Peach Cafe is excited to bring to you Elberta a cozy restaurant and bar inspired by Southern Cuisine and the rich history of the pre-prohibition American cocktail. The restaurants name is derived from the story of a young jazz/blues singer who originated from the Georgia peach state. Elberta (aka Berta), full of infectious Southern charm, and a tantalizing voice filled popular speakeasies of New York City during the prohibition era.
